DOST-PNRI sets up state-of-the-art facility to monitor radiation exposures in human body
To help ensure the safety of nuclear workers and improve the quality of life of thousands of radiotherapy patients, the DOST - Philippine Nuclear Research Institute established a state-of-the-art facility to monitor radiation exposures in the human body.
DOST Secretary Fortunato “Boy” T. de la Peña said the establishment of the facility, which was part of the PNRI’s international commitment, was funded by the DOST-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).

PNRI gets highest number of int'l publications at 2021 DOST IPA Awards
DOST-PNRI is once again recognized by the National Academy of Science and Technology as the DOST Agency with the highest number of international publications.
PNRI’s 48 research publications this year makes up 44% of the publications produced by the whole DOST System in 2021. PNRI Director Dr. Carlo A. Arcilla acknowledged the award during the 2021 DOST Intellectual Property Awards (IPA) held on December 6, 2021.
