The following DOST-PNRI developed technologies are now ready for licensing and adoption by any individual or corporation wanting to commercialize the technology:

1. PGP Carrageenan - Fully compatible with farmers’ practices, this plant growth promoter stimulates an increase in crop production. Based on multi-locational field tests, the technology also provides resistance to the tungro virus and bacterial leaf blight. Crops were able to endure stress from strong winds and rains and survive typhoons. This technology is environment friendly because it is non-toxic. Download the tech brief.

2. Hemostat - This is a patent-pending technology used to reduce or stop bleeding in wounds or skin openings made during medical procedures. Both the granules and dressing type of inventions will soon undergo clinical trials. Download the tech brief.

3. Hydrogel – This is a patented and modern alternative to gauze and bandage in wound care management. It is hypoallergenic, transparent, and soothing to wounds. Tested on burns, diabetic ulcers, and bed sores in collaboration with medical doctors.  As over the counter skin patch, it can be aimed at vanity market. Download the tech brief.

4. NutriBar - The innovation is about a newly developed ready-to-eat (RTE) food bar. It contains carbohydrates. soluble dietary fiber, and protein. Download the tech brief.
