ON TRAINING SLOTS, PAYMENT FEES

NO. Interested applicants must apply through the Online Course Application Portal (OCAP). We do not accept appeals, special or priority reservation requests from companies, institutions, organizations or associations as we strictly follow the FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE rule. The first-received application is reviewed and accepted accordingly.

Training slots are guaranteed once paid on or before the given due date. All accepted participants must request a Statement of Account (SOA) and Statement of Charges (SCO) upon receiving a training course acceptance e-mail.

NO. Only applicants who registered and are accepted can request for a SOA and SOC.

Unpaid slots will be opened automatically to other applicants without notice.

YES. Payment may be refunded, and processing may take at least six months.

YES. The training fee is transferable only for the participation of another person who:

(a) is in the same company as the original participant,

(b) applied for the same course and course session as the original participant, and

(c) has a profile that matches the prerequisites or requirements of the training course.

NO. You cannot as training fee amount differ from each other.

If you need to withdraw from the training due to illness or other unforeseen events beyond your control, you can use the paid training fee for another date of the same training course. You must e-mail a formal letter to the course coordinator stating your reason.

COURSE APPLICATION, SCHEDULE, CREDITS, TRAINING ACCESS

The training schedule for the next calendar year is uploaded in the website at the end of November or early December

Here are two reasons:

(a) it is NOT YET OPEN for registration. It usually opens one or two months before the start of the training course.

(b) it is already CLOSED because the maximum number of applications has been reached.

(a) 1x1 photo or digital image

• Face must be facing forward.

• taken within the last 6 mos. to reflect your current appearance.

• DO NOT attach company ID or graduation picture.

(b) Recommendation/endorsement letter to attend the training course from your direct supervisor. (address letter to Mr. Roel A. Loteriña, MSc. – Head, Nuclear Training Center)

(c) Medical Certificate: PNR/NTC Form Rev. 2/01 April 2024 (only for training courses of more than 5 days)

(d) Scanned copy of certificate of previously attended radiation safety course in PNRI. (applicable only to Radiation Safety Refresher Course)

ONLY applications that passed the review and evaluation will receive an acceptance email. We do not send notifications for declined applications.

Here are reasons:

(a) your profile did not match the training pre-requisites,

(b) you did not submit one or more of the required training requirements,

(c) you did not submit the correct training requirements and

(d) there are no slots anymore.

YES. Immediately notify us over the phone or email. Non-appearance or failure to inform us of cancellation will result in forfeiture of your payment.

The Nuclear Training Center (NTC) reserves the right to cancel courses if the number of participants has not reached the minimum required to run the course effectively. The NTC also reserves the right to cancel in the event of an unforeseen circumstance that disables a safe training environment.

In the event of a cancellation, the course coordinator will send a notification for an alternative course date.

YES. We conduct requests for onsite/in-house training (face-to-face, purely online, or blended approaches) with a minimum of ten (10) attendees.

Requests are subject to the availability of a course coordinating team, lecturers/experts, date of conduct, and agreed terms and conditions, including payment of appropriate fees.

Arcilla, Ph.D. Indicate in your letter the type of training course, number of attendees (minimum: 10), venue, and proposed schedules.

Course preparation for approved requests typically take about one (1) month to complete. (See PNRI Citizens Charter).

YES. The PNRI Nuclear Training Center is an accredited CPD provider. However, not all the training courses offered are CPD accredited, as these are subject to the approval of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Contact the course coordinator to verify CPD credit units.

If it is not offered, you can earn credits through a self-directed application. Please check PRC’s guidelines in the processing of application under self-directed learning through their website.

The course coordinator will email all paid participants at least two (2) days before the start of the training with further details of the course, including the Zoom and Learning Management System (LMS) links or invitations.


ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES AND DELIVERY

Issuance usually takes one month after the last day of the training course. However, it may take longer depending on how many participants attended the course and the number of assignments/exercises/quizzes the lecturer needs to check/grade after the training.

Training certificates are delivered through an accredited courier without added fees for participants with provincial address. On the other hand, participants with addresses within NCR or Metro Manila will need to pick it up personally or through their company liaison officers. If this is not possible, they can request it to be picked up by express couriers such as Lalamove, GrabExpress, JoyRide delivery, and the like. The requesting participant is responsible for paying the delivery fees.

Here are reasons:

(a) Your certificate was returned to the NTC because the courier could not locate your address because it is incomplete, and you did not provide a cellphone number for the courier to contact you or

(b) You have not paid the training fee/s.

No. We only issue a Certification letter or a Certified True Copy.
