PNRI gets highest number of int'l publications at 2021 DOST IPA Awards
DOST-PNRI is once again recognized by the National Academy of Science and Technology as the DOST Agency with the highest number of international publications.
PNRI’s 48 research publications this year makes up 44% of the publications produced by the whole DOST System in 2021. PNRI Director Dr. Carlo A. Arcilla acknowledged the award during the 2021 DOST Intellectual Property Awards (IPA) held on December 6, 2021.
Among other awards, the DOST International Publication Award is given annually to DOST scientists and researchers who were able to get their research outputs published in Thomson Reuters (formerly ISI) or Scopus indexed journals in the last three years before the year of the nomination.
PNRI scientists and researchers have proven to be prolific authors of scientific articles for internationally-recognized publications since the first DOST IPA in 2013. This year's recognition has also continued the Institute's winning streak in having the most number of publications among DOST agencies, having previously earned the same distinction in 2014 and 2016, and more recently from 2018 onwards.
