DOST-PNRI Celebrates International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2026
SCIENCE, SOUNDS AND BITES! The DOST - Philippine Nuclear Research Institute leads its celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science at the PNRI compound in Diliman, Quezon City this February 11!
From the country's leading nuclear scientists to the youngest researchers and staff, the ladies of PNRI surely had a fun time outdoors with trivia, games and serenades, culminating in a feast of classic sweets and Pinoy food.
The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is an initiative by the United Nations to promote as well as to raise awareness on the growing role of women and girls in the various scientific fields, ultimately aiming towards full and equal access for women.
